Jonathan Carrier, MBA, CPTC - Principal Owner & CEO
Jon began his career in organ procurement in 2004 following the passing and tissue donation of his brother. As a highly dedicated professional in the field of organ procurement and transplantation Jon proudly serves as the principal owner and CEO of Organ Procurement Support LLC.
Jon has presented at NATCO and AOPO Compass meetings both on several occasions including on the topic of Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy, First Person Authorization in DCD, and Honor Walks. Jon has served on various committees in his many years in the organ and tissue donation field across many different aspects of donation and transplantation including OPTN, AOPO, and NATCO. In addition, Jon contributed his expertise to develop the Organ Donation Alliance's mentorship program.
Jon is familiar in LEAN principles having been trained in LEAN during his career. Jon participates in and models outstanding customer service. Jon performs the job in a manner that exemplifies the mission, attributes and values on a continuous basis.
Kris Frank, RN, CPTC - Administrator of Education, Clinical Coordinator
Kris has been a registered nurse for 32 years with a variety of experience in ICUs, specializing in Neuro/Trauma. Kris worked for New England Donor Services for 23 years, starting in 1998 and, as a member of a donor family herself, understands the significance of organ and tissue donation. Kris has extensive experience as a Mentor and Trainer for 25+ years, is well liked by her peers for her ability to boost confidence and enhance advanced communications skills.
Kris has been involved with the Alliance since 2017 as Teleconference Faculty as well as Mentor for the National Mentor/Mentee project. She is an active member of ANA, AHNA, Kiwanis Club, and NATCO. Kris has Co Authored several projects, including ODASSE – for National Alliance in Organ and Tissue Donation, which is an educational resource for National teaching guidelines for various healthcare professionals on all aspects of donation.
Kris has presented both nationally and internationally, educating through organizations such as NATCO and has developed and taught a CPTC preparatory course. Kris has served on various committees throughout her tenure in her many years in the organ and tissue donation field, including multiple QA, donor management, and thyroid hormone projects.
Morgan Carver-Hunter, RN, CPTC - Clinical Coordinator
With more than two decades in health care, twelve of which in specialized neuro critical care prior to becoming an organ coordinator, Morgan brings extensive experience wherever she travels. Having worked within the OPO industry over five years now, she brings a broad level of experience from working with OPOs and transplant centers across the country.
During Morgan's more than 20 years in health care, also gained experience in nursing management. Morgan expertly communicates through crucial conversations to help create the best outcome for all parties when possible.
She continually strives to create the best customer service to families, hospitals and our OPO partners.
Troy Syverson, CPTC - Clinical Coordinator
With over two decades of working in health care, Troy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience everywhere he goes. Troy is a graduate of the University of Nebraska and obtained his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine. which drives his particular interests in the pharmacology of donor management and its relationship to recipient outcomes, pediatric donation, and leveraging technology to streamline and maximize donor potential.
Troy is a thinker, a doer, and a problem solver. He's great at being able to absorb a high volume of medically complex information, believes in being a lifelong learner, has been recognized repeatedly for his empathy and communication skills, and has a knack for distilling the complex down to the concise.
Troy is sought out for his clinical knowledge, leadership, and his ability to come up with simple, yet highly effective, solutions; for understanding what makes people tick, and for knowing how to take what's already there and make it better.
Kathleen Carty, RN, CPTC - Clinical Coordinator, Educator
Kathy began her career in organ procurement over 10 years ago alongside over 22 years of adult and pediatric ICU experience as a registered nurse. In addition to Kathy’s ICU experience, she also certified SANE nurse in the commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Kathy’s talents are not limited to clinical coordination of organ donation as she also participates in on boarding of OPO staff as well as bringing a strong commitment to providing exemplary customer service.
Tina Perkins, BSRT, RRT, RRT-NPS, CPTC - Clinical Coordinator
Tina has been in healthcare for over 25 years in multiple roles throughout that time. Her interest in donation began in during college and grew during her 5 years as a Pediatric Critical Care Respiratory Therapist. In 2017, Tina started her OPO career as a fulltime Organ Procurement Coordinator. In 2021 Tina transitioned to a work from home role as an abdominal allocation coordinator and triage coordinator. While working from home has added flexibility to her schedule, Tina realized she missed the patients, families, and hospital partners she worked with and began traveling with Organ Procurement Support LLC.
Patient management, educating families and clinical partners on the invaluable mission of donation, are the things that breathe life into her work. Always looking to learn and better her own understanding of the ever-changing world of organ donation, Tina enjoys the perspective she receives working with different OPOs.
